How to Have the Perfect Life.
Updated: Feb 17
As it implies, “getting out of your own way” is somehow putting aside the anxieties and doubts, ego concerns and job pressures, “mental blocks” and “cynical inner voices”---whatever it is that you have decided stand between you and the effortless flow.
We had the Women’s Wanderlust Weekend Retreat this past weekend and it was amazing to see the transformation unfold and become the new normal for these incredible women. Some had more “aha” moments than others but I’m confident they walked away with a fresh way to look at the world and themselves. They realized that everyone has or is going through something that relates to something you’re going through or you have gone through in the past. To not ever feel like you’re going through something alone.
Line Taken from Breakfast Club Movie:
“what we found out is that each one of us is an entrepreneur ...and a risk taker...and a mermaid...a true friend...and a goddess.
Words of Wisdom:
1. Stereotypes are useless. They are just shallow assumptions. Get to know someone before you form your judgments. There’s more to a person than meets the eye.
2. Stop trying to live up to certain expectations.Don’t care so much and be yourself, plain and simple.
3. Do what makes you happy, not what makes others happy.
Don’t waste time trying to impress people whether it’s your friends or your family. The road to happiness is not paved with making more money and wearing the latest trends. In the end, what matters most is how you view yourself.
4. We’re all bizarre, some of us are just good at hiding it.
And some of us just don’t care to hide it. There’s nothing wrong with letting your freak flag fly.
